Hot water air curtain GUARD W

The air curtain is used in areas with a mild and cold climate, where temperatures range from -10 to +40°C, provided that there is no risk of contamination with pollen, dust, chemical deposits, etc. Air curtains protect against heat loss in the building during the winter, thanks to the appropriate direction of the air flow. In summer, on the other hand, they can cool the given space (ventilation mode) and effectively prevent the penetration of warm air and dirt into the interior of the building.

Air curtains - heating performance

A new type of PTC heating element is used in GUARD curtains with electric heating. It is a modern and safe solution, characterized by the following features:

heating element without voltage,
lower temperature of the heating body than in the old type (e.g. heating coil),
large heat exchange surface (contact area of the exchanger with the heated air),
automatic power adjustment depending on the air flow,
elimination of the risk of overheating - self-cooling heating module (when air flow is reduced),
low energy demand.

Installation of air curtains

When determining the installation location of the curtain, it is necessary to take into account, in particular, suitability in terms of access for maintenance. Installation is possible

horizontal, under the ceiling using mounting pins,
on the wall using a horizontal holder,
vertical using mounting brackets.

Control of air curtains

Control of the air curtain is realized using the Panel COMFORT controller, which allows the adjustment of the air flow. The control panel is placed outside the air flow zone. A maximum of 2 GUARD modules can be connected to one Panel COMFORT. Part of the air curtain is the GUARD (DC) door switch, it is an accessory for switching the curtain on and off depending on the opening of the door. It is intended for internal installation.
